Prof. (Dr.) Samit Ray has been the life and soul behind RICE Education since it was established in 1985. Prof. Ray started his career as a software professional in the 1980s and quickly realized that not many candidates from West Bengal were able to qualify for the state and national competitive examinations.
RICE Education began with a single classroom and a small group of students in the northern fringes of Kolkata. Reaping the benefits of the courses at RICE, countless candidates from the state have gone on to secure government jobs.
Today, the name RICE Group is synonymous with success in Bengal — and the man who has always held the reins to steer us toward excellence is Prof. Samit Ray.
